Insulated sleeve covers offer added protection in areas where powerlines run close to buildings. These covers reduce the risk of accidental contact and help protect against arcing or flashover events. They’re especially useful for increasing compliance and safety on all properties with exposed lines.
At Private Powerline Services, we install insulated covers with precision, we’re here to help you maintain a safe and secure property.
We install these covers as a mechanical and environmental barrier for any contractors working on the building. This is a requirement for any temporary scaffolding being erected around the building. The Work-Safe guidelines still have to be followed which means that you cannot be closer than 0.5 meters to this cover.
Our Line Sleeves Charge Out Rates
We offer insulated sleeve cover installation across the Waikato region. For properties within the Hamilton city boundary, installation of 2–8 sleeves (minimum two per line) is available for $550 + GST, which includes up to 30 days of hire, travel, installation, and removal.
For locations within 30 minutes of Hamilton CBD, an additional $100 + GST covers the extra time and travel. Outside these areas? No problem — we’re happy to provide a custom quote based on your location.
